September 2007 update

Phase 1 of  the building project is completed and the new building - The Ena Makin Building - opened on schedule at the start of Autumn term 2006.  Nursery, Transition, Reception and Classes 1 and 2 are comfortably settled in and their new classrooms are looking superb (see photos below). Each classroom has its own cloakroom facilities and plenty of storage space.  The new junior library is a bright and cheerful area for reading and computer studies. Easy access for disabled pupils is available thoughout the building.

At the end of the summer term 2007 new play equipment was erected in the Junior play area.

The senior girls benefit due to the extra space created in the main school building.

Phase 2  was completed at the end of the Summer term ready for use at the beginning of the Autumn term 2007.  The new building - The Maureen Froggatt Building - has provided a new Design & Technology room, French room, Music rooms and Learning Development facilities.

Phase 3.  The new ICT suite is planned for 2008/9 within the main school building.
