The Friends of Granville (FOG) hold fund-raising events to foster social contact and to raise funds for educational and sporting equipment that is outside the resources provided by the school. An annual cocktail party is held at the beginning of the academic year to introduce new parents and staff to the school.  The highlight of the year is the Founder’s Day Fete held in May to celebrate the birthday of the school. In addition there is a Christmas fair, a wine tasting evening, a summer ball and various other fund-raising and social events.

 

 

The committee of the Friends of Granville is made up of form representatives from each class. This year's chairman is Mrs Lorna Kelly.

 

We encourage parents to join the FOG committee.  It is not too time consuming; it is an excellent way to meet other parents and a very rewarding way to become involved in the school. A list of committee members and class representatives is displayed in the school entrance outside the school office.
