Year 6 enjoyed playing against each other in the Inter House netball tournament. The girls looked great in their House T-shirts, and there was a real sense of camaraderie within the Houses. The House captains did a fantastic job to organise and lead their teams – well done to Georgina, Kitty, Maisee and Lauren.
Hever were the runaway winners; beating the other Houses 11-2, 5-0 and 6-3.
Congratulations to the team of Venetia, Emily, Helena, Cara, Kitty, Mira and Maddie.
The other three teams were very evenly matched; all winning one game, and losing two to finish on 5 points apiece. Final positions were decided on goal difference. Knole were runners up having scored 13 goals, and conceded 13. Chartwell just pipped Penshurst to take third place, leaving Penshurst in 4th place this year.
There was a terrific turn out of support from parents and relatives, with the youngest supporter less than two weeks old! As usual, the afternoon was rounded off with the sharing of delicious home-made cakes made by the parents, and a lovely tea for the players from our school caterers.
