Eleanor Kara and Emily represented The Granville at the weekend at the IAPS national swimming finals.
The girls had qualified back in January so were looking forward to racing the best in the country. All girls performed extremely well gaining high placings. Eleanor came 12th in the 50m backstroke and Emily came 11th in the 25m breaststroke. Kara had a particularly good gala in the 50m breaststroke, in her heat she won with a personal best time so was in with a good chance for the final.
The final was so close with the first three swimmers touching at the same time, Kara was one of them and gained a 3rd place! An amazing result. Well done to all the girls.
