“It’s not just about being awarded the flag, it’s about making sure all the girls grow up knowing how vulnerable planet Earth is and how hard we all need to work to preserve resources for future generations.”
Mrs Cording
After seven years of ECO activity The Granville School has been awarded the very prestigious Green Flag! Proud pupils and staff hoisted the flag in the school playground during the Founder’s Day Fete on Saturday 11th May 2013.
The award is the culmination of years of working together as a team – supporting each other; thinking sustainability at every turn. Well done to everyone in The Granville, the children and our brilliant parents who are always keen to support the school in every way.
Mrs Cording
The school would like to thank Mrs Cording, the ECO Governors and the ECO warriors for all their hard work.
