This is a new event for 2015, and the girls are to be congratulated on their standard of play, which noticeably improved as the afternoon went on. All girls from Year 3 upwards have one lesson a week of hockey in the Spring Term.
PENSHURST won all three of their matches in the U10 Inter-house hockey tournament. They were frankly, amazing! Their scoring rate was phenomenal at 22 goals in 30 minutes of play, and they didn’t concede any. In their final match however, it was more difficult for them as their goal seemed to decrease in size as the game went on. Telia captained the team with maturity, and every member of the team contributed to their success. The event was very well supported by families of the girls, who enjoyed a nice cup of tea and some cake donated by parents.
Runners-Up were Knole, who won two of their three matches. Chartwell were 3rd, and on this occasion, Hever 4th.
