The UKMT results are in!
Held each April, the UKMT Junior Maths Challenge is a national mathematics competition designed for pupils in Year 8 and below. With the Year 6 girls away in France, it was our Year 5 pupils who represented the school this year.
An hour long challenge, it has some seriously challenging questions with much content being beyond the experiences of our girls. However, courage and perseverance were shown and our girls performed exceedingly well. All girls should be very pleased with their scores.
Special congratulations go to two of our Year 5s, who were the highest-scoring pupils with 74 points each. Their excellent performances earned them Silver certificates, narrowly missing Gold by just one mark. Well done to all the girls who took part!
