NB: All Fees include Pupils’ Personal Accident Insurance and a school lunch.

Payment Terms

  • Fees and other charges are payable by direct debit on the first day of each term*.
  • Where fees are not paid on the first day of the Term, a letter will be sent to parents after 7 days, reminding parents to make payment and also informing that a late payment administration fee of £200 will be applied to their account, if the fees are still not settled 10 days after this reminder.
  • An interest charge of 3 percent per annum above the Bank of England base rate will be made on any late payment of fees and any extras, that remain outstanding 30 days from the start of the Term, the interest will be charged from the first day the fees were due.
  • Unless otherwise notified to you in writing, this interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You must pay the School the interest together with the overdue amount.
  • A full term’s notice in writing and addressed to the Headmistress must be given in the event of a pupil being withdrawn from the School or from extra subjects. Otherwise, a full term’s fees will be payable in lieu whenever a full term’s notice is not given.
  • Where parents wish to make advance payment of tuition fees for a set number of future terms, please read the School Fees in Advance Scheme terms and conditions under the Fees section of the School’s website.
  • The School is mindful that families can encounter life changing events that impact their financial situation. Please do contact the School at the earliest opportunity if you are expecting financial hardship. All enquiries of this nature will be treated in the strictest confidence. Please email the Bursar at bursar@granvilleschool.org.

*The School reserves the right to exclude from the School any child for whom fees have not been paid. Should any parents have difficulty with the payment of fees, they should contact the Bursar so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.

*This charge covers a minimum of ten lessons at the times indicated, however, owing to the varying length of terms, it may not be possible to achieve ten lessons per term. Any shortfall will be made up during longer terms. Lessons of less than 30 minutes or those in groups will be charged pro-rata and rounded.

** Ballet is a curriculum subject until the end of year 3, after which parents must notify the School that their child will be continuing with Ballet.

A full term’s notice in writing, addressed to the specific Music Teacher (for music) or the Headmistress (for Ballet) must be given in the event of a pupil being withdrawn from Music and/or Ballet or the School. Otherwise, a full term’s Music and/or Ballet fees will be payable in lieu whenever a full term’s notice is not given.

Whilst we encourage children to follow extra subjects, please bear in mind the ability of your child and be careful that you do not ask her to do so much that her curricular work is put at risk.

The school is a registered provider of Free Early Education (FEE) for 3- & 4-year-olds. All children from the term following their 3rd birthday are eligible to receive a maximum of 15 hours per week for 38 weeks per year.  However, parents can only claim 33 weeks at Granville School as that is the number of weeks in our school year. FEE at Granville School is delivered at a maximum of 3 hours per day.

*These are average rates based on 11.3 weeks per term. Some terms are shorter, and some are longer which will create a slight variation when invoiced Termly.

Parents wishing to only access the 15 hours Free Early Education will, subject to availability, be offered the following sessions:

Red Room 9:00 am – 11:45 am**

Yellow Room 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm**

**Lunch and certain activities are not included

Wrap Around Care

These services is available to all pupils who attend Granville School and is booked on a weekly basis. WAC is booked preferably via our booking system KidsClubHQ, but can also be booked on the odd occasion via a phone call or email (preferred) on the day.  Charges can be paid by Card at time of booking on KidsClubHQ, be paid by vouchers to the School’s bank account (please advise secretary@granvilleschool.org when this is done, so we can update KidsClubHQ accordingly) or alternatively be added to the next Termly invoice.

Registration and Payment Terms

  • Parents are required to complete and return a registration form along with a £100 registration fee to request a place at The Granville Pre-School.
  • Once a place has been offered a £1,000 deposit is required to secure the place; this is offset against the child’s final invoice. Please note that cancellation of a reserved place will forfeit the deposit.
  • Parents should inform the Registrar at point of registration should they wish to only access the 15 hours Free Early Education. Registration fees are not charged for a 15 hours’ Free Early Education place; however, a deposit of £1,000 is still required but will be refunded within 6 weeks of taking up the place. Please note that cancellation of a reserved place will forfeit the deposit.
  • If the child increases from accessing only the Free Early Education space to full morning or all-day sessions the registration and deposit will become due immediately.
  • Fees and other charges are payable by direct debit on the first day of each term.
  • An interest charge of 3 percent per annum above the base rate will be made on any late payments, as would late payment charges.
  • Unless otherwise notified to you in writing, this interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after a debt judgment. You must pay the School the interest together with the overdue amount.
  • A full term’s notice in writing and addressed to the Headmistress must be given in the event of a pupil being withdrawn from the School or from extra subjects. Otherwise, a full term’s fees will be payable in lieu whenever a full term’s notice is not given. Please note that a notice period is not required for a 15 hours’ Free Early Education Place.
