In Year 1 the girls continue to follow a carefully planned, broad programme ensuring progression tailored to individual needs. Learning remains active, practical and fun, with an emphasis on developing thinking ability as well as honing important basic literacy and numeracy skills and fostering a love of reading, which is paramount.
Many strands of the curriculum are combined in topics that help girls learn holistically across the curriculum. A wide range of workshops, visits and extra-curricular activities will be offered to enrich her education and provide many opportunities to explore her interests and discover her talents.
