We are delighted to announce that on Friday 26th April, we will be welcoming Tọlá Okogwu to The Granville to talk about her new books, Bekah and the Moon (for Pre-School to Year 2) and Onyeka and the Heroes of the Dawn (for Years 3 to 6).
Tọlá Okogwu is an award-winning and best selling author of the Daddy Do My Hair Series, Aziza’s Secret Fairy Door series and the Onyeka series. She believes it’s important for children to read books that are reflective of their own experiences, as well as other cultures and she seeks to create these opportunities through her books and wider writing.
On the day, the children will listen to her talk about her books and her writing process, have a chance to ask questions, and an opportunity to purchase a book and have it signed.
