How to get involved? Come to school dressed up in Number or Maths related costumes. Please bring a donation of £1 or more. All proceeds will go directly to the NSPCC charity. On the day expect Maths lessons with a twist and Maths quizzes and puzzles around the school.

On Monday 29th November the staff and the children at The Granville are kicking off the Christmas celebrations with a Christmas Jumper Day. Children are encouraged to come in wearing their favourite festive jumpers and to bring in a suggested donation of £1 in aid of ‘Save the Children’ charity.
This October three of our Granville girls competed in the Kent Schools Skiing Championships at Chatham. The times from their individual races were combined which meant that they won in the Primary Senior Girls category and retained the title of fastest Primary Girls Team. Ahoy there! Class 2 set sail on their Pirate Day! The day was full of fun activities and of course a treasure hunt with real buried treasure. The girls along with Mr Newman made fabulous pirates.
On Tuesday, 28th September, our U11 IAPS hockey team travelled to Hurstpierpoint to compete in the IAPS South East Regional Hockey Tournament at which 25 schools took part. After a very tough day, the girls managed to secure an amazing 3rd place. Well done, we are all very proud of you.
Many thanks to everyone who was involved in making the Book Fair last week such a success. The commision from the sales secured us a very healthy amount of £450 which will be spent on our libraries!
